We are delighted to share that we’ve joined UKHospitality, setting out plans to work with the UK’s leading foodservice operators. UKHospitality is an influential voice for the industry that together with its members is shaping the future of the UK’s hospitality.

Through our membership we aim to support UKHospitality community by innovating equipment and budget management through track-and-trace technology. We connect an ecosystem of businesses across the foodservice equipment supply chain to help improve operational efficiency, sustainability and facilitate adaptation to the new circular economy standard, in line with the UK and EU government plans.

Last year we set our foot in the catering equipment manufacturing industry, proudly working with brands including Ecofast Environmental UK Ltd, Electrolux Professional UK & Ireland and operators in the education and healthcare sectors, including NHS Trusts. By joining UKHospitality, we plan to consolidate our growing network.

Our Co-Founder & CEO, Lugano Kapembwa, says: “Loopcycle connects operators with manufacturers and suppliers to help them share the best equipment care practice beyond warranty period, make better purchasing decisions and prevent unnecessary expenses. Our marketplace feature lets you get the most out of unneeded equipment, and the income made can be reinvested elsewhere in the business. We are excited to be involved with UKHospitality and further deepen our understanding of the challenges facing operators in managing their assets.”

We are thrilled that Kate Nicholls OBE, Chief Executive, UKHospitality, acknowledged the value we offer to UKHospitality members by saying:

“Sustainability is a top priority for our operators, and they are seeking the most innovative technologies that will enable them to make further reductions to their carbon footprint, on the road to carbon neutral. We are, therefore, delighted to welcome Loopcycle as members, and the value that the platform will provide in enabling our operators to manage their assets in more commercially efficient and environmentally sustainable way.”

We imagine a world where products have an identity and lasting integrity, setting a mission to trace over a million products by 2025. It is exciting to see the progress we are making every month, and we are looking forward to the future this membership brings.
